I basically want to create a light effect that appears in front of the player and stays in front of them wherever they go, and also always stays a few tiles ahead of the player whichever direction they're facing, like a real flashlight. I want the player to be able to turn it on/off, and also for the flashlight to have a looping sound effect when on. Is there a script for this? (Be gentle, I'm not script-savvy) Or a way to go about it? I know how to create lighting effects with the Gimp, if that's helpful.
