C Media 8738 Win7 Driver
Dear sir, I beg to state that I have brought a C-media soundcard but the problem is that whenever i try to install its driver on windows 10 it shows that the card is not plugged in the PCI but in reality it is connected into PCI and device manager is showing it too.If i get the inf installed through the driver update it shows that card is plugged in and is working properly but it does not give out sound i have tried almost everything to get sound through it but it doesn't seem to work with windows 10 WHY??? I have also checked that soundcard with other systems with windows 7 & windows 8.In those OS this works fine but not in windows 10.I am Upset:/.i have also contacted C-media.They always say that we will release its windows 10 driver but they dont release it:/ can anyone help me with my Issue i will be thankfull.

You might be facing this issue due to the incompatibility of the driver with Windows 10. So I suggest you to check the device manufacturer website to see if Windows 10 drivers are available. Sorry for the delayed response. Have you tried uninstalling all the drivers and any software that came with the card? Uninstall the card from device manager. Acid Factory Game Cheat. You may follow the steps below for the same: • Right Click on Start, Select Device Manager. • Find and double-click the category of device whose driver you wish to uninstall. • Right-click the device, and click Uninstall. • Windows will prompt you to confirm the device’s removal.
Click OK to remove the driver. I suggest you to shut down the computer and physically remove the sound card and reboot the computer and make sure it does not see any of the software or drivers for any sound device.
Then shutting it down and putting the card back in. Then when you boot it should see the card as a new device and ask for the drivers. This makes sure there are no other sound drivers installed that could be conflicting. I also suggest you to update the motherboard chipset drivers from the OEM website to check if that helps.
